English for Students with a Working Holiday Visa
Are you in New Zealand on a Working Holiday Visa? Do you want a flexible programme that allows you to work and study at the same time? English for Working Holiday Visa Students can be studied part-time or full-time.

Please note that this course is ONLY available to students on Working Holiday Visas. Please note also that according to the conditions of your permit, you may only be allowed to study up to a maximum of 3 months.
Entry Criteria
- Age: 18+ at commencement of course
- English: Open
- Previous Study: Any previous high school study
- Visa: Valid Working Holiday Visa/Permit
Course Content:
Your programme structure and content will depend on your level and when you are available to study. Programmes are usually a combination of General English and/or English for University.
Demi-Pair Programme
Demi-Pairs study English in the mornings for 15 hours per week, and spend approximately 20 hours per week caring for the children in a homestay family and doing housework. There is a choice of either a 12-week or 24-week programme, with a range of different study options depending on each student’s needs or interests. Students can attend General English classes, which begin on any Monday of the year or they can attend any of the exam courses detailed below.
