THE SCHOOL
Valletta is a UNESCO world heritage city. Founded by the Knights of Malta in 1573, it has retained much of the original magnificence that went into its careful planning. Grand Baroque architecture in this fortified walled peninsula served not only to protect the island from invasions, but also to provide gracious living for the Knights.
Malta a centre for English language teaching for more than 25 years now one of the world’s top three centres for English language learners from all over the world. Our English Language School is in Valletta, a UNESCO world heritage city we run courses exclusively for adult learners Business English General English and English for Special Purposes
The aim of our school is to ensure that students benefit from the expertise and enthusiasm of our teaching staff and other members of the organisation. Our students feel a sense of achievement whether their course is long or short and through our personal care and services they enjoy their stay in Malta.
COURSES
Course 20h The course deals with English speaking, reading and writing skills a communicative approach. Attention is paid to grammatical accuracy and topics of general interest appropriate to the students.
Mini-Group Courses It is based on the same course content as our general English course 20h, but only 6 students can attend class
Business English It is like our General English Course 20h with a focus on language accuracy in speaking, reading and writing, but in a business topic context. You learn the language of presentations, finance, sales, marketing and advertising class size 4 maximum

FREE TIME
Malta has a great deal to offer:
- Mild climate in the winter makes outdoor activities attractive year-round.
- golf, country walks and visiting historical sites, some of which date back 6,000 years, are the winter favourites.
- beach games and water sports attract visitors in the summer months.
- best in the Mediterranean for scuba diving and windsurfing and sailing
- Valletta itself has a cinema complex where all films are screened in English as they are in other cinema complexes around the islands.
- Concerts featuring international performers, plays and art exhibitions run through the whole winter season from September to June.
- Outdoor performances such as the traditional annual Shakespeare production in the gardens of the president’s palace and the annual jazz festival on the 400-hundred
year-old quays of Grand Harbour take place in July.
- Museums are open year-round as are the many pubs, bars, nightclubs and restaurants offering foods from all over the world.
ACCOMMODATION
Which course you may take, you have a variety of accommodation arrangements to choose from. Though you can make your own arrangements, we can arrange for hotel accommodation from guesthouses to 5-star, studio flats or a stay with a host family in a simple or shared room. Unless your accommodation is within easy walking distance to the school, we will provide transport to school in the mornings. On request we can arrange for students to stay with tutors when taking intensive courses under our host tutor programme. Host tutors are required to have qualifications equivalent to those of college teaching staff.
