Our English language school in Toronto has a positive, international atmosphere in a bright, modern office building in Toronto 's stylish and culturally progressive Bloor Yorkville neighbourhood. COURSES
Course 15h, 25h or 30h
Improve your skills quickly in all areas of English through practical communication and effective skills-building exercises in these morning classes. Your teacher will correct your mistakes and use many different teaching styles:
- Practice listening & speaking with trips, discussions, videos, radio and TV.
- Work with classmates on group presentations and projects.
- Grammar & vocabulary with textbook examples, exercises, homework & extra materials.
- 'Real life' assignments: practice your English in Canadian shops and businesses.
English Test Preparation
Improve your test scores with these intensive classes and independent study combined with morning Communication Skills classes. You will learn strategies and patterns that occur in standardized English tests (TOEFL, TOEIC and IELTS) and work on your specific language weaknesses. Your teacher can clearly answer your grammar questions and provide practice tests to help you improveyour score quickly.
Cambridge Preparation 25h
This course is available to advanced-level students considering writing the Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE) exam. Topics covered include reading, writing, use of English, listening and speaking. There are 8 and 12-week programs available, which lead up to the official test date.
University Preparation
Upon achieving an advanced level of English language proficiency, students have the option of transferring to our fully accredited college programs and university transfer programs without requiring a TOEFL exam. You will be asked to take an in-house aptitude evaluation to determine your strengths and weaknesses. After-class support will be offered to students who may need additional assistance.
It is our goal to provide a level of training and service which is not readily available at other institutions. A team of highly qualified educators and human resource professionals designed our training system.
Business English
This program allows you to combine your studies with an unpaid work internship using your knowledge and skills in a Canadian company. Our internship counsellor will find interviews for suitable positions for you. Before beginning your internship you will attend elective classes that will cover topics such as resume writing and interview skills.
Teacher training TESL
Our College is a leader in teacher training. We have been training Canadians (TEFL Certificate) and international students (TESL) for almost a decade. All of our full-time teacher-training programs contain classroom instruction, peer teaching, a supervised practicum and observation classes. Based on the Communicative Approach to ESL training, these courses include how to plan lessons and manage time in the classroom. You will study and use different teaching techniques and methodologies, covering language skills and systems, communication skills and more. You will learn classroom games, activities, tasks, ice-breakers and practical classroom management skills.

FREE TIME
It's exciting to be able to see and experience life in Canada. Our school makes this possible by arranging activities, sports, city tours and weekend trips for you to join. It's a great way to meet new friends and spend time with your teachers.
Your teachers will include local field trips to help you practice your English, see more of the city and meet Canadians. These trips will focus on your classroom course content and you may be given homework or assignments on these trips.
Excursions are usually free or very inexpensive and might include hiking to the top of Grouse Mountain or going to the top of the CN Tower. You can also join trips on the weekend to visit places like Victoria, Whistler (2010 Winter Olympic city), Montreal, Ottawa, Niagara Falls, Banff
and more. These trips can be 1 to 3 days long and are a good opportunity to travel outside
of the city.

Homestay
Stay with a carefully selected homestay family to experience Canadian culture and improve your English while living with Canadians. Your Canadian homestay family would like to welcome you to their home. Exchange cultural ideas, talk about different experiences, and practice your English at home; these are some of the advantages of doing homestay. You'll also join family activities - it's a great way to do what Canadians enjoy doing! Our homestay families are caref ully selected and are friendly, safe and willing to help you with your goals in Canada.
You will have a Private room in your home and three meals per day. Your host family will explain how to get around the city easily. The homestay counsellor is here to talk to you about your time with your family and will always be available to discuss any questions that you might have. Families and students often become life-long friends. This homestay experience is perfect for anyone wanting to get a unique perspective of Canada. We will make sure that you have a great time in Canada!
