THE SCHOOL
The school is in St. Julian's and consists of various facilities including reception area, internet centre, TV room, library, and cafeteria. Our classrooms are built to modern standards and specifications and students can also make use of study areas.
Our teachers are all professionally trained, TEFL qualified and experienced in the teaching of English as a second language. They are carefully selected for their academic abilities and communication skills. You will find out that the Staff is always helpful, caring and devoted and will offer personal support and assistance. Student services also include a 24 hour emergency phone line. We will make sure you will get the most out of your language learning experience in Malta.
The School is licensed by the Ministry of Education of Malta and the Malta Tourism Authority . Therefore, all our teachers are fully qualified, our premises are regularly inspected and students are placed in licensed accommodation only.
COURSES
General English Course
Our General English Plus course is aimed at those students who are interested in developing their functional level of English at various levels. The course structure and materials used are developed in such a way as to cover the four main language skills (reading, listening, speaking and writing), vocabulary building, grammar and pronunciation.
All levels: Beginner, Elementary, Lower Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced.
Includes: Course: 20 Lessons per week, Course material, Registration and placement fees.

Intensive English Course
consists of a General English Course plus ten extra lessons per week in the afternoon. These ten extra lessons are designed for the students who want to give their English a boost in a relatively short period of time and for people who want to have a more intensive programme of study. By focusing on grammar, conversation, listening, writing, pronunciation andvocabulary building, the General English Plus course is based on the same course content as the General English course.
Business English Course
This course is mainly designed to help students getting more confidence and knowledge in the English Language, especially in the Business context. It is ideal for the Business personnel or student who wants to achieve better communication skills in a global English speaking Business environment.
Class levels vary from Elementary to Advanced and the maximum number of participants is limited to six students per class. A careful screening process is done to ensure the right placement of the student in the correct level.
For a more personal business tuition we also offer One to One Business courses for those wishing to have more in-depth, specialised lessons. This course is designed to cater for students with particular needs and interests in the learning of English in the business environment.
Some of the topics covered in this course are:
- Role-plays of conferences and meetings.
- Presentations, telephoning and discussions.
- Contracts and report reading
- Business vocabulary

IELTS Preparation Course
IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is used as the language of communication.
IELTS conforms to the highest international standards of language assessment and it tests the complete range of English language skills that will commonly be encountered by students when studying or training in the English Language.
There is an option of either Academic or General Training Reading and Writing Modules. Academic is suitable for candidates planning to undertake higher education study. General Training is suitable for candidates planning to undertake non academic training or work experience, or for immigration purposes.
Preparation course for IELTS consists of 20 morning lessons in classes of not more than ten students. We recommend that students taking up IELTS examination take our three-month preparation classes. Students who are sufficiently prepared can also apply for shorter preparation periods.
Exams are held every month and applications must be made at least four weeks prior the exam date.
TOEFL Preparation Course
we offer the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL®) that evaluates the English competence of people whose native language is not English. Most people who take the TOEFL test are planning to study at colleges and universities in the United States and Canada. TOEFL is also used by institutions in other countries where English is the language of instruction. In addition, many government agencies, scholarship programs, and licensing/certification agencies use TOEFL scores to evaluate English proficiency.

Academic Year

English for Tourism
This course is ideal both for in-service and pre-service students who want to learn or improve their skills in the usage of the English Language through subjects and topics which are oriented towards the Hotel and tourism industry. All English lessons are conducted by TEFL qualified teachers. With a minimum of 20 group lessons per week you can be sure to make the most out of your time.
