THE SCHOOL
 Our English language school is a small, friendly school on the south coast of England, just over one hour from London by train. We have been welcoming students of English for 30 years, and we are pleased to find that many of our students come back to us year after year.
We are a small team of very experienced teachers who enjoy teaching English and hope to share our enthusiasm with you. We have all been teaching for many years, both in the UK and in other countries of the world. The school has a wide range of courses to suit your needs, and they all offer excellent value for money.
The School is accredited by the British Council and is regularly inspected. We are also a member of EnglishUK. Together this forms the basis of your guarantee of high quality standards.
COURSES
Course 15h
This is our most popular course. It focuses mostly on speaking and listening, but also includes grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.
Course 22.5h
Similar to the Course 15h, but with more lesson time.
Academic Year Programme
This is a special programme for students who are staying a long time and want to make the maximum progress. We offer many different courses and give you the chance to take exams in IELTS, Business, TOEIC and the  Cambridge exams.
Private Tuition (One-to-One)
This is an excellent way to improve your English, as you can concentrate on exactly what you need, for example Business
English, Technical English or pronunciation.
Examination Preparation 15h
There are 15 hours of classes each week, plus a considerable amount of homework. You will look a variety of topics such as political, environmental and social issues.
Your teachers will also help you to understand the differences between British and American English in terms of vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation.
With us you will pass your IELTS, TOEIC, Cambridge exams, LCCI
Summer course
Our Junior Centres are ideal places to study English, discover a new country and make friends from all over the world. Useful lessons, exciting activities and high quality accommodation all contribute to the success of each centre. more information

FREE TIME
 At our school we believe social activities form a very important part of your learning programme. They provide an opportunity for you to get together and talk outside the classroom and also to meet people from outside the school. This is an invaluable part of learning English and about British culture. We offer a wide range of activities and you can choose what you want to do. Here are some of the activities we organise:
- Weekend excursions
We go on day trips every Saturday in July and August, and once or twice a month the rest of the year. Places we visit include London, Bath, Oxford, Salisbury and Stonehenge, the New Forest, Brighton and the south coast.
- Evening Activities
On Friday nights, we often arrange pub trips and barbecue parties. Other evening activities include trips to local cinemas, theatres and restaurants, plus karaoke nights, snooker, bowling and sports.
- Daytime Activities
In the afternoons, we can organise local visits, for example to the city walls, the football stadium, and the city's museums. We also offer boat trips, chess and games, and sports matches. We show a video at the school every week.
ACCOMMODATION
- Regular Homestay
Staying with an English family is a valuable part of your language course. They welcome you i nto their home and you live as a member of their family. They give you a comfortable and friendly base during your stay.
- Executive Homestay
This gives you the the Regular Homestay conditions plus the following advantages:
- private bathroom
- larger house
- family with a professional background
- Other Accommodation
We can also help you book accommodation in a hotel or "bed and breakfast". However, we would strongly advise homestay accommodation, as least in the beginning, to give you a chance to get to know English people and also the opportunity to practise your English in a friendly and comfortable environment.
