It is located at the heart of the historic city of Norwich and ideally situated for experiencing life in England. Norwich is a friendly, clean, and culturally progressive city situated about 40 minutes from the Norfolk coast and about 2 hours from London. In Norwich you will find one of the best-preserved medieval centres in the country.
The city is vibrant with entertainment ranging from cinemas and theatres, to pubs and nightclubs. The school is within walking distance of the city’s cathedral and castle as well as modern shopping centres and traditional markets.

COURSES
GENERAL English
General English courses are designed to give students a good foundation for whatever the long term learning aims may be. Courses run all year. These classes follow a course book and build essential vocabulary and grammar. They also provide practice in the four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking English.
There are two full-time General English courses, a 15 hour STANDARD course and a 21 hour INTENSIVE course.
Afternoon classes provide further practice of language skills. They do not follow a course book, and can include exam preparation for PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, or Trinity Spoken exams.
One-to-One tuition for special purposes can also be arranged.
FCE, CAE & CPE Cambridge Exam Preparation Course
This course will help to improve your language skills and prepare for the chosen Cambridge
exam. The Cambridge Exams are widely recognised by employers, colleges and universities as evidence of ability in English.
- FCE - First Certificate in English (Upper Intermediate Level)
- CAE - Certificate of Advanced English (Lower Advanced Level)
- CPE - Certificate of Proficiency in English (Advanced Level)
The courses are:
- Designed to improve language skills and help students pass the chosen exam
- Taught by qualified, experienced and dedicated teachers
- In small groups for personal attention (maximum 8 students)
In the courses you will:
- Improve the ability to use English effectively and with confidence
- Develop the language skills needed to pass the chosen Cambridge exam
- Prepare and practise for the chosen exam
- Receive constant support through tutorials and feedback on your progress
- Identify strengths in English and areas where study and practice are needed
- Get advice on exam techniques
IELTS Preparation Course
This course will help improve your language skills and prepare for the IELTS exam. The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is recognised world-wide as the main English language test for those students wishing to study at university level in Britain and in other English-speaking countries such as Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
The course is:
- Taught by qualified, dedicated and IELTS-experienced teachers
- Designed to meet specific student needs
- In small groups (maximum 8 students)
In the course you will:
- Improve English skills in the four areas of reading, listening, speaking and writing
- Do regular practice tests to establish an IELTS score
- Receive constant support through tutorials and feedback on your progress

The school is in the centre of the historic city of Norwich, a small, peaceful, but thriving city situated about 40 minutes from the Norfolk coast and about 1-2 hours from both London and Cambridge.
There are numerous restaurants, bars, and cafes close by as well as a post office and banks. When the school is over for the day there are some fantastic shopping centres, art galleries and museums, as well as the famous cathedral and castle.
Norwich has a buzzing nightlife with a choice of cinemas, theatres, pubs and clubs. Student accommodation is convenient, mostly within easy walking distance of the city centre.
ACCOMODATION
Student accommodation is located across Norwich. Students can choose between accommodations that require a bus journey to the school or that are within walking distance (city centre).
- Home-Stay
Home-stay is a perfect opportunity for students to experience English life by living as part of an English family.
The student will have a bedroom and will be provided with 2 meals per day. Most homes include washing machine, internet & television.
- Self-Catering
This is for students who want to buy food and cook meals but still stay with an English host family. The student will have a bedroom room but can share the family kitchen and other facilities.
- Bed & Breakfast / Hotel
We are also able to arrange bed & breakfast or hotel accommodation in Norwich at a range of standards and prices.
