THE SCHOOL
Manhattan Language is located in a newly renovated building with many windows, wood floors and high ceilings. Our classrooms are clean, sunny, airy and spacious. The computer room offers free Internet and Wi-Fi. Manhattan Language uses the Communicative Approach in all of its languages courses. Students speak only English from the first day. Our classes are lively and focus on real communication. This makes learning English an interactive, rewarding and enjoyable experience.
Small Classes Small classes mean more personal attention for each student. Students improve quickly with many opportunities to communicate with classmates and their instructors.
Professional Teachers Manhattan Language courses are taught by carefully selected, university-trained, professional language instructors. They are always native speakers of English.
Comprehensive Courses Manhattan Languages American English Program offers a well-designed curriculum of 12 levels. Students attend at least two classes per day (taught by different teachers) to improve the essential skills of speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, idioms, grammar, writing, reading, listening.

One to One Instruction One-to-One instruction is the ultimate choice for accelerated progress in English. Teachers design your program to focus on the language skills you need to attain. (lessons are 45 minutes, programs can begin on any day, five-lesson packages and ten-lesson packages are available).
English for Tourists If you are planning a trip to New York and would like to take some classes in English, Manhattan Language invites you to enroll in our Non-Intensive New York Language & Culture Program.
Pre-TOEFL Test Preparation: T.O.E.F.L Test Preparation for intermediate-level students. TOEFL & Academic Skills: Improve the reading, listening, writing and speaking skills needed to succeed both on the TOEFL Test and in college. TOEFL Test Preparation: T.O.E.F.L Test preparation for advanced- level students.

Thats why Manhattan Language offers a variety of teacher-led social activities every week in which students can experience New York City and make friends from other countries. Activities include trips to museums, parks, shows, club, street, festivals, sports games and cultural events.
We also offer bonus classes every week at our school. Each week is another chance to use your English and study something different. Learn about drawing, yoga, resume writing, the history of hip-hop, New York City fashion and more.
