THE SCHOOL
Our english language school is a friendly school, full of young, enthusiastic, teachers who like living in London as much as you. And they all teach English because they enjoy meeting people from all over the world. The school is situated in the centre of London and we offer a lively social programme with parties, cinema or theatre. The teachers of our english language school are highly qualified.
COURSES
Direct English Course Our language school is different from all the other schools in London. We teach General English with our own method - Direct English. We use our own books, and our teachers have special training.
Read and Write Students usually study this for one hour a day along with Direct English. In Read & Write you study English on the page. In the future, you will want to write a note, or a letter, or an e-mail in English.
Pronunciation Our specially-trained teachers show you how to pronounce all the sounds in English and help you with the ones you find difficult.
FCE Foundation Here, you learn the basic skills you need. At the end of the course, there is an exam you can take, (PET), which will help you to do the FCE next time.
First Certificate (FCE) The First Certificate exam is offered by Cambridge University so that students of English can prove their level to anyone.
Advanced CAE CAE takes a closer look at idioms, conditionals and a wide range of vocabulary. It is important to continue progressing to an advanced level and this exam will challenge you to deepen your studies. Together, you can work at passing the CAE exam, which could help you find a job, deal with most everyday situations or even get into a British University.
IELTS IELTS is the ideal test for people who wish to study or work where English is the language of communication. It measures your ability to communicate, in English, the four vital language skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking.
Business English You study the vocabulary and grammar that you need for meetings, presentations, and discussions on subjects like sales and marketing. You also learn about memos, faxes, letters, and business e-mails.
Discussion This course is for students who want to practise speaking freely. You learn to express ideas, exchange opinions, and improve your vocabulary.
One-to-One and One-to-Two Do you want personal attention? Studying by yourself with your own teacher might be the answer. It’s more expensive, but you can decide what happens during the lesson.
