THE SCHOOL
Killarney is a small town, which has been dealing with visitors since Queen Victoria in the 1830’s. Killarney is much smaller than Dublin or London, but we have a 22,000 acre National Park, with lakes, rivers and mountains.
We are a small personal English language school with a friendly atmosphere where staff do everything possible to ensure a rewarding stay. Our school is located on the shores of Lough Leane in the National Park.
We work closely with all our students to help them to improve their English with confidence. Many of the students are nature lovers who wish to take advantage of the National Park.
COURSES
Course 15h
We concentrate on speaking and listening skills as well as essential grammar and vocabulary, we can however tailor a course to suit students' needs.) The course is for 15 hours per week (3 hours per day). Our aim is that students quickly gain fluency in English.
Course 30h
The same model as the course 15h but full-time.
Course One-to-One
The course can be for as many hours per week as students wish per week. This course is designed to suit students who wish to learn and practice as much English as possible in a
short time. 
English for Parents & Children
We can offer a specially arranged course for you and your child (ren) . Parents will be in one class and your children in another. However, you will be in the same building, so you can 'keep an eye' on your children. This course will allow you to help your child(ren)'s learning of English while enabling you to develop your own language skills. If parents wish to bring small babies we can organise a baby-sitting service.

Business English
Course covers all areas of business english that you need to work on.
Cambridge exams
Cambridge examinations are internationally known and cover a range of levels.
They are excellent courses for students wanting a challenging course in all language skills.
TOEFL examinations
The Test of English as a Foreign Language is a test to measure the level of English proficiency of non-native speakers of English. It is required by American and other English language colleges and universities.
IELTS exams
IELTS is the International English Language Testing System (offered by the British Council) and is one of the most widely recognised language tests in Ireland, the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada for further and higher education entrance. It is also recognised by universities worldwide as a test of English competence for academic study. IELTS is a statutory requirement for overseas medical practitioners wishing to work in the U.K. IELTS is developed and managed by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES). Our course covers all five sections of the exam –Reading comprehension, Writing Comprehension, Use of English, Listening Comprehension and Oral Interview.

FREE TIME
Our school is set in a 22,000 acre National Park with lakes. mountains and rivers in Southwest Ireland, therefore most of our activities make use of the National Park.
Activities include hill walking, cycling, horse riding, golf, ball sports, Irish dancing and music, etc.
All activities are fully supervised. We also organise an evening social course; visits to Irish music concerts, cinema, teenage discos, etc. Again all evening activities are fully supervised. All activities are conducted in English; thus students will get ample time to practice the language learned in the classroom.
ACCOMMODATION
- Host families (homestay)
 Students will have excellent full board accommodation with single room, breakfast, packed lunch and evening meals 7 days per week. If there are children coming we would find a family with a large house and children of similar ages. Therefore, they will have friends when they arrive this will decrease homesickness and make the transition easier. All families live near the school and have been carefully selected. All homes are modern and comfortable.
