Our programme is an excellent way for students to improve their English very quickly. Whilst living in the teacher's home, the student receives intensive One-to-One tuition. Living with the teacher means that the student is able to constantly practise his/her English skills, both formally and socially.
Our College carefully selects only fully qualified, experienced teachers who hold the Cambridge CELTA qualification, or equivalent. When placing a student, we select a teacher who shares similar interests and is able to meet any specific requirements.
Englishstay students can choose Intensive General English tuition or Academic English, including preparation for Cambridge exams. Combinations are possible. For example, a student may choose to do General English in the first week followed by Academic English in the second.
Englishstay students can start their course on any Monday of the year and may study for any number of weeks. Most students select 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks. There is a choice of 15, 20, 25 or 30 hours of formal tuition per week. A lesson timetable is arranged between student and teacher on arrival in Perth.
EnglishStay fees include the following:
- Tuition for 15, 20, 25 or 30 hours a week.
- Accommodation in a private bedroom in the teacher's home.
- All meals.
- Level test on arrival.
- Free fitness club membership (includes swimming pool, spa, sauna, aerobics and gym).
- Optional free pronunciation class two hours a week.
- Ongoing support from Milner College staff during the course.

- Free use of internet & school library.
