THE SCHOOL
Our school opened its doors in fall 2005 in Musgrave, one of Durban’s most prime areas.
The school runs:
- A year round centre for adults
- A young learner programme in summer and winter
- A student residence close to the school
The centre is located in the heart of trendy Musgrave with a range of designer boutiques, cafes, department stores, restaurants, bars and clubs. Centrally located, the vicinity attracts large numbers to Durban. It is only a minute away from the popular Musgrave Centre, a 5 minute drive from the city centre and to the impressive modern shopping, marina and cinema complex in Umhlanga, Gateway.
The school has 7 classrooms and a library that is equipped with a TV and VCR. Students have access to free internet and the tour reservations desk helps them plan their free time.
COURSES
Course 20h
Ideal if you want to plenty of free time to explore Durban and soak up the local culture. A series of additional add-on options is available whether you are looking for a more intensive
programme, more individual attention, or some business related tuition. This flexibility means you can tailor make your own learning solution and still have time to enjoy the benefits of our comprehensive leisure programme.
Intensive English 30h
For more rapid progress, why not follow a 30-lessons per week Course? The additional 10 lessons per week provide the ideal conditions for you to develop a wide range of vocabulary and improve your key speaking and listening skills.
Intensive English Plus 30h + 5h One-to-One
For the really dedicated student, looking for fast improvement with 30 lessons Intensive course per week, complemented by an additional 5 lessons One-to-One tuition which has been integrated into the package price.
Business English
If your motivation is effective communication in business these are the courses for you. The course combines 20 lessons General English with 10 lessons of Business English.
Beginners
A special course for beginners is offered every Monday.
Private Tuition
Whatever your choice you can speed up your progress further still with private tuition.
Long stay, semester & year programmes (12+ weeks)
We know the best way to become fluent in English is to go and live in an English speaking country for a longer period of time. Students attend either General English or Intensive English courses and receive further add-ons.

CAMBRIDGE EXAM COURSE
The University of Cambridge Certificate examinations are among some of the most widely-recognised English language qualifications in the world. If your English level is between intermediate and advanced you have a choice of three Cambridge exams - First Certificate
(FCE), Advanced (CAE) and Proficiency (CPE). Three times a year - to coincide with fixed exam dates worldwide - an 8 week preparatory course is available at our school (the programme includes 8 weeks of tuition 9 weeks of accommodation to include the final exam week).

FREE TIME
Our school provides an extensive leisure programme with experienced school tour guides. We offer daily afternoon and evening excursions as well as full-day excursions at the weekend, all year round. Our experienced staff will ensure that the trips are enjoyable and interesting. Also, safaris and other trips are available to book at the reception.

ACCOMODATION
Host Family
This popular choice of accommodation is ideal for students who are interested in experiencing life with a South African host first hand and practicing their English regularly. Our homestays can be a family with children, a childless couple, a single parent, or a single person.
Students will take part in their hosts’ everyday life and be treated as a "member of the family", therefore they should be prepared to adapt as much as possible to their hosts’ daily routines and habits. Many of our homestays have been caring for our students for many years and our Accommodation and Welfare Officers inspect all regularly.
Residence
This is our most popular accommodation option. The residence is ideally situated on Florida Road and is only a short walk to the school and the many restaurants, bars and shops of the popular Musgrave and Berea districts. We have a mixture of single, twin and dorm rooms
(4-bedded) with en-suite or shared bathroom.
