THE SCHOOL
A vibrant, modern city located on the east coast of Australia, Brisbane provides the ideal environment for English language study. In Brisbane you can enjoy a sunny, warm climate, friendly people and a safe, relaxed environment. When these factors are combined with world-class educational facilities and a comparatively low cost of living, it is easy to understand why so many English language students are choosing Brisbane!
If you want to study at an internationally respected English language school in this great city of Brisbane, our school is for you! We are located in a beautiful heritage-listed building in the heart of the CBD, with libraries, restaurants, coffee shops, shopping malls and boutiques just steps away. Bus and train transport is at our door. Students have a store of knowledge that they have gained from years of English study in their home country but they lack the confidence to use it. So, we are not only interested in what you know about English, but what you can do with that knowledge.

FREE TIME
Brisbane has beautiful inner-city parks, bike paths, swimming pools and sporting facilities, as well as coffee shops, restaurants, nightlife, sophisticated shopping, art galleries and museums. Students have easy access to Brisbane's rainforest hinterland and world-famous surfing beaches one hour's drive north or south of the capital. Brisbane is also only a few hours by air from other famous Australia tourist destinations including The Australian Outback, Great Barrier Reef, Sydney and Melbourne. The rail, bus and ferry system in Brisbane is clean, safe and efficient, and its public hospitals world-class.
At our English language school you can experience one-day adventures to some of the most beautiful places in Queensland when you take part in our exciting excursions program. Our destinations have been carefully chosen to offer you the best chance to appreciate the natural beauty of this country and its unique animals, while keeping costs and travel time to a minimum.
We are now running our excursions on Saturdays for example to the wonderful Springbrook National Park in the southern highlands. This year, we will also visit Kondililla Falls where we will hike through the rainforests and wonder at the waterfalls and wildlife in this pristine environment. Stradbroke Island is always a popular destination for our students with its perfect beaches and the chance to see dolphins, whales and giant turtles! We will also take our students to visit the Gold Coast, famous for its surfing beaches and glamorous lifestyle as well as to the Sunshine Coast to experience its glorious beaches and national parks.
Students always love to have their photograph taken with that furry Australian icon, the koala, and Alma Park Zoo in the Sunshine Coast hinterland is scheduled for visits in 2006. Here, students can cuddle a koala, stroke a kangaroo and see a huge range of our very special Australian animals and birds.
ACCOMMODATION
- Homestay – Live with an Australian Family!
To improve your English and really experience Australian culture, we recommend you choose Homestay accommodation with an Australian family. We use an accredited Homestay Placement service that ensures that a student is accommodated with a family that best suits his or her needs. Students should include their request and preferences for a Homestay family on the Application for Enrolment form.
- Share accommodation/Student Hostel
If you prefer a more independent lifestyle and want to live with other students, you may prefer to live in a house or apartment. For your first few weeks or months in Brisbane, you may decide to live in a homestay arrangement, but as you make friends amongst the other students at our school and learn more about Brisbane you may chose to become more adventurous and find your own accommodation.
Share and hostel accommodation is of uniformly high standard in Brisbane, and often close to the city centre. You will probably have to buy and prepare your own food, and share a kitchen and bathroom with other residents.
