THE SCHOOL
When the Good Friday Agree ment was signed in April 1998 decades of sectarian tensions were finally consigned to the past. Since then Belfast has developed into one of the most dynamic cities in Europe. A huge amount of investment is flooding into the city and several major new redevelopment projects, such as the Titanic Quarter, have been started. Belfast has also become the natural gateway for foreign visitors to Northern Ireland and there is an increasing number of direct flights from several European cities. The people of Belfast are famous for being open, warm and friendly and visitors from other countries will be welcome wherever they go.
Our English Language School is a specialist one, which has been set up by a group of language teaching professionals with over 30 years experience in the field. It is located in University Street, which is in the heart of the city's university district. The area is full of bars, restaurants and shops catering for a large student population and is just a 10-minute walk from Belfast city centre. Our aim is to provide English language students from all over the world with a comfortable, friendly and technologically advanced environment in which they can develop their language skills.

FREE TIME
Our English Language School organises an interesting and varied programme of social activities including welcome parties in the school, guided visits to places of interest in the city and excursions outside the city at weekends. Guides are provided by the school free of charge, but students are responsible for transport and entrance fees (where necessary). We are also happy to help students arrange any kind of sporting activity in or around Belfast. The most popular activities available include hiking, cycling, sailing, fishing, tennis and golf. Students are responsible for all corresponding fees.
ACCOMMODATION
We can organise three different types of accommodation for students:
With Local Host Families: A carefully selected number of local families who are able to offer single room accommodation to students on a bed and breakfast basis, or with half board (including an evening meal). Some families are also able to offer students their own private bathroom.
- In Shared Apartments:
Students can choose to stay in a single bedroom in a fully furnished student apartment. In this case, common areas - the bathroom, kitchen, living room, etc. - are shared with other students. No meals are provided but students have the right to use the kitchen and to prepare their own meals.
- Hotels and Guest Houses:
There are a number of good value hotels and guest houses within walking distance of the school. Prices vary according to the standard of the accommodation provided but there is a wide range available which caters for all needs and budgets
